See what the eye can't.
AI-powered spectral screening, right before food preparation.
Clarivue. The last check before cooking, backed by evidence.
Clarivue is a pre-service screening station for kitchens. It captures each ingredient across 224 short-wave infrared bands, uses AI to find spectral anomalies, and is designed to support Pass, Verify and Hold workflows — with traceable spectral evidence for every screening decision.
A Pass is a screening result, not a microbiological safety guarantee.
Every wavelength tells a story.
We measure 224 bands across 900–1700 nm and analyze eight selected channels. Some sit on well-known absorption regions, such as water (O–H) near 1450 nm; others are under investigation as indicators of protein, lipid and deterioration-related change.

From 224 bands to eight analysis channels.
Clarivue measures the full 900–1700 nm spectrum and analyzes eight narrow windows, each averaged over ±10 nm. Some track well-known absorption regions such as water; others are being evaluated as indicators of protein, lipid and deterioration-related change. Below is one example from our spectral library — kale, captured under 13 conditions: fresh leaves with natural, dry and wet surfaces, a week of 4 °C cold storage, and five stages of room-temperature drying. Pick a channel, or let it scan through all eight.
Absorbance log(1/R), mean of each ±10 nm channel window from the ROI spectrum · bar = relative to the 13 kale conditions · single captures, not calibrated composition
8 stored channels · mean ROI reflectance · single captures, not biological replicates
Absorbance per ±10 nm window, normalized within each channel · single captures, not calibrated composition
For every kitchen that makes the final call.
Most testing happens at the farm or the factory. Food keeps changing after that. Clarivue is built for where the last decision is made — at the prep line, right before cooking.
